Looking at Energy Efficient Lighting
Energy efficient light bulbs
The days of incandescent bulbs are over with various countries actually banning that style of lighting. Good thing that Australia has both CFL and LED lighting to take its place.
What is a CFL light?
CFL stands for Compact Fluorescent Light, just like the ones you see in warehouses and school classrooms only small enough to fit within a normal light socket. CFL lights will give off a similar light to an incandescent bulb whilst costing a lot less.
What is an LED?
LED stands for Light-Emitting Diode. These lights are commonly mistaken as downlights but they come in all different shapes and sizes. From the common household lightbulb shape to the ultra-retro. These style of lights are very bright and use the least amount of energy out of incandescent or CFL.
