In a twist, despite being one of the world’s top gas exporters, Australia is now building its first gas import terminal to assist with domestic demand. Raising further questions about long-term energy planning and local supply security.

Rob Wheals, CEO of Squadron Energy, spoke to ABC News about the new import gas terminal being built in Port Kembla, “We don't have time to wait.
