NBN Moves Underground

A Clean & Professional Relocation in Armadale

We were lucky enough to be trusted by a customer in Armadale who wanted to Relocate their NBN lead-in cable. Moving critical infrastructure requires precision and compliance, and we were thrilled they trusted the 1st Call Electrical team to deliver a seamless result.

How We Got It Done

This project was a fantastic collaborative effort. To keep the project timeline efficient and cost-effective, the customer took the initiative to dig the required trench on their property.

From there, our expert electrician, Arthur, stepped in to handle the technical heavy lifting. We supplied, wired, and installed a brand-new lead-in conduit designed specifically to house and protect the NBN HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coaxial) cable. Because NBN connections require strict adherence to regulatory standards, we ensured every piece of material used was fully NBN-approved.

We think our electrician Arthur did a beautifully neat and professional job with the conduit work!

Why Consider Relocating Your NBN Cable Underground?

If you are currently relying on an overhead NBN connection, making the switch to an underground lead-in offers several major advantages:

  • Enhanced Property Aesthetics: Removing heavy overhead cables instantly modernizes and cleans up the facade of your home.

  • Weather & Storm Protection: Underground cables are safely shielded from severe weather, high winds, and falling tree branches, minimizing the risk of unexpected internet outages.

  • Future-Proofing for Renovations: If you are planning an extension, a new carport, or major landscaping, relocating your cables early prevents design headaches down the track.

  • Guaranteed Compliance: By using specialised, NBN-approved conduit, you ensure your home’s internet infrastructure meets all current telecommunications standards.
